Brought to you in collaboration with the ASCA Graduate Student Community of Practice! In today’s diverse and dynamic work environments, understanding one’s worth and actively contributing to the growth and success of the organization is essential for both personal fulfillment and professional success. However, many staff and faculty members face challenges in recognizing their value, especially in environments that may unintentionally neglect inclusivity or promotion. 

This program aims to empower faculty and staff to know their worthwhile fostering a culture of contribution, equity, and intentional inclusion. By focusing on self-assessment, education, and equitable practices, I seek to enhance both individual and organizational growth.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Attendees will gain skills for increased self-awareness and confidence in the workplace, particularly around their contributions to their department. (CSAEd™ Domain: Leadership)

Presenter Information & Bio:

Brownishia Clark (She/Her/Hers)

Brownishia Clark serves as the Assistant Director for the Office of Student Conduct at North Carolina State University. She proudly serves as the Co-Chair of the Awards Committee for the Association for Student Conduct Administration for the 2024-2026 term, championing excellence and recognition in student conduct work. She also served on the 2026 ASCA Extended Committee for Professional Growth. Honored as the 2024 recipient of the prestigious Ryan C. Holmes Silent Warrior Award, Brownishia is deeply grateful for this recognition of her dedication and hard work.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science, along with a Master’s in Higher Education/Student Personnel from the University of Mississippi, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a heart full of commitment to supporting students. Brownishia is dedicated to creating a positive and understanding environment where students are empowered to grow and learn from their experiences.
